The project creation wizard makes it easy to load a new project into the system.

To start, click "Create Project" on the dashboard page.

If you cannot see this button, talk to your Organization admin about granting you this permission.

Next add details related to the project, this is a multi-step process and takes a minute.

Location

Once you have selected a country and state/region for your project you can use the map to easily select the address by using the search bar or zooming and clicking on the map. This automatically populates the project name, or you can customize it.

Network Copy

Next select how much network data you want brought in for your project, this includes LiDAR, rainfall, parcel data plus other network data if available for the region.

We have LiDAR and existing parcel data for most areas we operate in. Contact us if you would like to store other existing infrastructure data for easy retrieval and loading into your projects.

Inheriting Project settings

This creates an easy way to set up a project with engineering rules and project settings from a nearby project. Templates appear at the top of the list, these allow an organization to manage default settings for a particular region. Projects are then provided ranked by location, you can choose to sort by age of project or the developer/client.

You can chose to select all setting groups from the one project or selected groups from a different project (ie retaining wall settings from a particular client/developer).

Click Confirm Settings to review the settings prior to creating the project. Note these can be changed later.

What Next?

After your project is created you will be routed to the project dashboard. You can now add files related to your project and update project settings.

Access to the underlying geospatial data for the project is limited to authorized users.
