Installation

To install, download and install the MSI installer from Allsite.ai by clicking the dropdown in the top right corner (you must have a valid account set up to do this).

Next, read and accept the T&C's.

Click install, this installs the Allsite.ai Civil 3D extension to your user account and will be available when Civil 3D is opened.

When you next open Civil 3D you will see a notification and see the Allsite.ai toolbar

On Civil 3D open, a check for newer versions is made, if a new major version is available you will be prompted for installation. It is recommended to stay on the latest version.

Checking Installed Version

You can check the version installed by clicking App Manager in the Civil 3D toolbar.

Alternatively, check from installed windows programs - Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs

DWGs that have been initialized with Allsite can still be opened and the grading parameters can even be edited by users that do not have the Allsite Civil 3d extension installed - this is because Allsite uses native Civil 3d features like extended data.

Updating

Patch updates are automatically applied. If the automatic updates cannot be run (ie if Civil 3D is always open) then a prompt pops up when Civil 3D is opened, this can be dismissed (snoozes for 3 days).

Troubleshooting

Other programs such as Bluebeam can interact with Civil 3D preventing installation.

If you are having issues with installation, restart your machine and ensure other programs such as Bluebeam are closed.
